Counter Strike Map

This project was a focus on learning a new tool as well as designing a competitive 5v5 map for the game Counter Strike 2. The level Inspiration started as a slummy apartment complex that changed over time into a beat down apartment complex under construction. Learning and using the Hammer Editor provided by valve for counter strike 2 was a great learning experience in level design, 3D modelling and level art. I was able to construct this map using only assets available in the game.

The map went through multiple rounds of playtesting and changes to get it to the playable state i was happy with. Learning how Counter Strike maps work with less of an emphasis on realism and more on gameplay allowed me to focus more on how the map played than how it looked, which gave me more time at the end to worry about the artistic features
